African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI) is seeking a highly motivated and creative Graphic Design Intern to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing graphics for various communication and promotional materials. You will work closely with the communications team while contributing your creativity to a range of day-to-day and special projects involving social media, web content, video production, and internal and external communication products.

I. Responsibilities:

• Create graphics for social media platforms, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
• Assist in the development and execution of visual content for our websites, reports, brochures, videos, etc.
• Work with the communications team to understand project requirements and develop designs that meet their needs.
• Ensure that all designs align with our brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all materials.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

II. Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in graphic design or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). Experience in WordPress web content management/design, and video editing are advantageous.
• Ability to work in English, French, and Arabic
• Strong attention to detail, a creative outlook, and an ability to work independently.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction.
• Ability to travel to HQ in Benguérir for periodic workday meetings as needed.

The institute works to develop and promote sustainable plant nutrition management practices and innovation through research, education, and outreach. It has active research projects in East, West, and North Africa. It currently has four offices across Africa.
