Agtech startups from the countries of the Americas with digital solutions already available for use, are invited to apply to participate in week of  Digital Agriculture in Action (ADA). This is launched by IICA (Instituto Interamericano de Cooperación para la Agricultura) together with other key stakeholders in agricultural digitization.

 The selection will be based on the potential of digital solutions to improve the production, sustainability and inclusiveness of agri-food systems. In addition, the feasibility of implementing pilots that use the solution in different countries will be prioritized.

I. Benefits

• All the startups that apply will be linked to IICA and its allies for possible future activities. In addition, their solutions will be considered in future studies and reports that emerge after ADA Week.
• The selected startups will travel to Costa Rica with expenses paid to participate in the ADA Week.
• The winning startups will be able to: Present their solution to an audience from all the countries of the Americas and the rest of the world, especially interested in taking advantage of digital solutions.
• They will participate in talks and direct exchanges with top-level leaders on the subject and key multinational organizations for digital transformation.
• The winners will be able to propose collaborations with IICA to implement pilots for the use of its solution in the member states of the institute

II. Eligibility

• Founders of legally constituted startups of countries of the Americas that offer digital solutions for agriculture and that wish to participate in the Digital Agriculture in Action Week (SADA).
• The person completing the form must currently play an active role in the startup, which he/she shall represent in the SADA should it be selected.
