Global Change maker is thrilled to announce the Global Youth Summit 2024, a fully funded, transformative experience! This year, Global Change makers is inviting young leaders from across the globe to join us in Cape Town, South Africa from 21-25 October 2024. This year’s summit is not just a meeting place but a melting pot of ideas, cultures, and visions for a better future.
I. Eligibility
Young Changemakers, aged 21-29 and living in any corner of the world, are invited to apply for a chance to participate in an unforgettable week of skills development, networking, and capacity building.
II. Benefits
- For Changemakers selected from outside South Africa, Global Changemakers will cover the flight to and from your country’s main airport, transport within South Africa, food and accommodation for the duration of the summit. For Changemakers already in South Africa, your transport to the summit venue will be covered along with the other expenses.
- Together with a diverse group of some of the world’s most inspiring youth leaders, you’ll embark on a journey of growth, collaboration, and action.
- Participants of the Global Youth Summit 2024 will have the unique opportunity to connect with over 1300 changemakers in the international network and become eligible for grant funding to bring their impactful projects to life.

IV. About global changemakers
Global Changemakers is an international youth organisation with a mission to support youth to create positive change towards more fair, just, and sustainable communities. They do this through skills development, capacity building, mentoring, and grants.
The organization has trained over 50K young people from over 190 countries and provided grants to 500 youth-led projects in partnership with organisations such as the Shawn Mendes Foundation that have had a combined impact on over 16 million people.
Global Changemakers has organised four Virtual Youth Summits, twelve fully funded Global Youth Summits, and four Regional Summits in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and Europe, as well as many other skill-building events across the world.
