Agricultural Research Postdoctoral Position in Agricultural Economics

ETH Zurich is looking for a postdoctoral researcher with a background in agricultural economics. You will teach at the undergraduate level (in German) and graduate level (in English) in an inspiring teaching environment. Supervision of bachelor and master's students is also expected.

Teaching and supervision tasks are limited to a level that allows you to develop a strong research record in the field of the group’s focus. The ideal candidate must have a strong methodological expertise in one of these fields: econometrics, spatial econometrics, optimization models, agent-based models, and surveys.

I. Eligibility

  • You have a PhD degree (or will be close to completion),
  • Strong analytical skills and a background in agricultural economics.
  • Proficient oral and written German and English skills are required.
  • Experiences in teaching and supervision are a clear plus.
  • The preferred starting date is in October 2022 or upon discussion.
